Dionissis Karavias was born and raised in Athens.
He studied graphic arts. In the early years, he designed comics, but soon games won him over. For the next thirty so years he designed, created and illustrated table games and puzzles. He worked with the biggest children movie companies, Disney, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, Fox and others.
In 2002 he was awarded by Disney for his artistic work. Recently he turned to illustrating children’s books and has already adorned more than a hundred children’s fairytales and educational books for young children.
